Careers at One Path Care
You became a carer to care. Work somewhere that lets you.
Every care company says its people are its greatest asset. Here's what we actually do about it.
Pay that respects the work
Above sector-typical rates, paid travel time and mileage, and pay reviewed annually.
Rounds that make sense
Visits long enough to care properly, rotas built around geography and your availability, and guaranteed-hours contracts available. No 15-minute-visit culture. Ever.
A team that knows your name
A local West Sussex team, a manager who answers the phone, supervision that develops rather than ticks boxes, and a 24/7 on-call that has your back.
Real training, real progression
Paid induction to Care Certificate standard, funded diplomas (Level 2–5), specialist pathways, and a visible route: Carer → Senior → Field Supervisor → Coordinator → Deputy or Registered Manager. We grow our managers, not import them.
Wellbeing, taken seriously
Sensible workloads, proper breaks between visits, an employee assistance programme, and recognition that's specific and regular — not an annual certificate.
The work itself is different
You'll see the same clients week after week. You'll know their stories, notice the small changes that matter, and go home knowing you made a difference rather than raced a stopwatch.
Who we're looking for
Experience helps; character is essential. If you're reliable, kind, observant and take pride in doing things properly, we will train the rest. We welcome experienced carers, career-changers and returners — values-based interviews mean we recruit for who you are.
How hiring works
- Apply online (five minutes, no CV essays) or call for an informal chat.
- Values-based interview — a conversation, not an interrogation.
- Enhanced DBS, references and full employment-history checks. We're thorough; that's the job.
- Paid induction and shadowing — you never work alone until you're confident and signed off.
