Privacy

Your information, handled with care.

This policy explains what personal information we collect through this website, why, who helps us process it, and the rights you have over it — in plain English.

Who we are

One Path Care Ltd (“we”, “us”) is a domiciliary care provider based in Worthing, serving the whole of West Sussex. We are the data controller for personal information collected through this website. You can contact us about anything in this policy at hello@onepathcare.co.uk or on 0333 000 0000.

What we collect, and why

Enquiries. When you use our contact form or email or call us, we collect your name, phone number, email address (if you provide one), and whatever you choose to tell us about your situation. We use this to respond to your enquiry, arrange assessments, and answer your questions. Our lawful basis is legitimate interests (responding to people who contact us) and, where you go on to receive care, taking steps to enter into a contract.

Recruitment. If you apply to join our team, we collect the information you provide in your application so we can consider it. Our lawful basis is taking steps prior to an employment contract and our legitimate interests in recruiting safely.

Website use. Our website does not use advertising or tracking cookies. The only thing stored in your browser is your text-size preference if you use the accessibility toggle, which never leaves your device. Our hosting provider keeps standard, short-lived technical logs (such as IP addresses) for security.

We deliberately keep the contact form minimal. Please don't include detailed medical information in it — we will gather anything needed properly, and securely, at your free assessment.

Who helps us process your data

Like almost every organisation, we use trusted service providers to run our website and email. Email is hosted by IONOS SE in European data centres. Our website is hosted by Vercel. Contact-form messages are delivered to our inbox by Formspree, a US provider; transfers are protected by the UK–US data bridge and standard contractual safeguards, and submissions are deleted from Formspree once actioned. We never sell your data, and we never add you to marketing lists without asking.

How long we keep it

Enquiries that do not lead to care are kept for up to 12 months, then deleted. Unsuccessful job applications are kept for up to 6 months. If you become a client, information is kept in line with our records policy and regulatory requirements, which we will explain in the fuller privacy notice you receive when care begins.

Your rights

Under UK data protection law you have the right to access the information we hold about you, to have it corrected or deleted, to restrict or object to how we use it, and to data portability. To exercise any of these, email hello@onepathcare.co.uk — we respond within one month. If you're unhappy with how we've handled your data, you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk or on 0303 123 1113.

Changes to this policy

We'll update this page as our services develop — including when our CQC registration completes and we begin delivering regulated care, at which point clients receive a full care-records privacy notice. This version was published in July 2026.
