Learning Disability Support

Support that starts with what you can do.

We provide strengths-based support for adults with learning disabilities — at home and in the community — designed around each person's own goals: independence skills, work or volunteering, friendships, health, and a life that's genuinely theirs.

Who this helps

Adults with learning disabilities, their families, advocates and the professionals supporting them.

What this support includes

  • Daily living skills: cooking, budgeting, travel training, running a home
  • Support into education, volunteering and employment
  • Community access — clubs, sport, faith groups, friendships
  • Health support: appointments, annual health checks, healthy routines
  • Positive behaviour support approaches where relevant
  • Working alongside families, advocates and professionals

How we do it differently

Plans are co-produced with the person in their preferred communication style — easy-read, visual or verbal — and progress is measured against their goals. Staff train in line with the Oliver McGowan Mandatory Training on learning disability and autism, and we involve the people we support in choosing the staff who work with them.

How it starts

A free home assessment, a written plan in plain English, and an introduction to your carers — care begins only when you're ready.
