Medication Support
The right medicines, at the right time, safely.
Managing medication is one of the most common reasons families first seek help — and one of the areas where professionalism matters most. Our staff are trained, competency-assessed and re-assessed, working to a medication policy aligned with NICE community guidance.
Who this helps
Anyone who needs prompting, administration or a safe system around their medicines — from a daily reminder to time-critical support.
What this support includes
- Prompting and reminding, where that's all that's needed
- Administering from pharmacy-labelled and blister packs
- Creams, patches and drops
- Time-critical medication support, such as for Parkinson's
- Ordering and collecting prescriptions
- Liaison with GPs, pharmacists and district nurses when something doesn't look right
How we do it differently
Every administration is recorded electronically at the point of care, with alerts if a dose is missed — so problems surface in hours, not at the next GP review. And we support the least intervention that keeps someone safe: if a person can manage with a prompt and a system, our job is to help them keep that independence.
How it starts
A free home assessment, a written plan in plain English, and an introduction to your carers — care begins only when you're ready.
